It was a smooth transition. Would buy from them again.

I had to get a Glock too… Seems everyone had the full/mid sized – and I tried the17, 19, and 21 at my local range – but I was looking for a smaller powerful package and was absolutely thrilled when I picked up a 27. Albeit a little fatter than I care for when carrying concealed (abdominal), the little beast in .40 S&W – 8 rounds packs a helluva punch. Best yet – The first time I pulled the trigger on the 27 I had a “death grip” on it figuring I’d have my wrist snapped off… far from it… due to it’s ergonomics and heavy weight, it was a comfort and a joy to shoot – accurate too for such a small handgun. I got the mag extension so my pinky has a ‘notch’ which greatly improved the “feel and control”.

I have not been able to shoot it yet but I have cleaned it and I love the ease of how it breaks down and how easy it is to put together

I bought one with the standard hammer. It is in superb condition. I re-installed the grips properly and it was perfect. Got a craft holster and am awaiting the matching speed loader pouch. Watching old Adam-12 shows have brought the revolver back into my EDC list.

I find it interesting someone refers to this revolver as ‘old school’ with the internal lock system…I own revolvers made in the ’60s and ’70s…that’s old school to me. I do own a Model 65 made in 1981 and is referred to as a transition gun. In 1982 S&W stopped making the pinned and recessed frames and cylinders, however, mine has the recessed cylinder on a non-pinned frame.

15+1 and cheap. Shoots everything I feed it so far.

I recently bought 4 police trades, one was in excellent condition as advertised, two s&w revolvers were in reasonable good condition but not near very good as advertised and the 65-5 wasn’t even close to very good, I couldn’t put enough lipstick on this pig to make it poor.

It is a shame Sig retired the P320 45ACP. I have the compact frame which offers a great balance between beast power and concealability.

Outstanding! I’m a sucker for police trade ins, but the real sucker is the agency that let these beauties go. They should have just sent them to YB to work his magic on & I’d bet many an Officer, Trooper, or Deputy would still want to carry them today
