Starting in 1996 as a small group of athletes discussing the future of the shotgun, Upland Fasteel Precision Steel Upland Ammunition is now a multinational cartridge company. In 1997, Upland Fasteel Precison Steel Upland the Activ Cartridge plant in Kearneysville, West Virginia. This gave Kent a base of operations in the heart of wild and wonderful West Virginia. In 1998, Kent expanded into Europe with the acquisition of the Gamebore Cartridge Company in Hull, England. Kent-Gamebore Corporation was then formed and now operates in North America and worldwide. The goal was simple, to develop a non-toxic shell that would match,  prvi partizan 120 grain and possibly exceed, the performance of high-quality lead waterfowl charges.
