FN model 1922 online. Initially designed for military and police contracts in Europe shortly after the Great War, FN 1922 served several flags in WWII.
I also got your email but am responding here. You have an early 1930s French Navy contract fn browning model pistol. But the gun in original condition is rare and valuable, and the sad part is that somebody went to town on yours with gold plating and white replacement Franzite grips.
As the name implies, the highly efficient FN Browning Model 1910 and its offshoot, the fn pistol (also known as “10/22”), were designed by firearm wonder man John Moses Browning and built-in Belgium at Fabrique Nationale. Buy Federal American Eagle Ammunition 5.7x28mm FN 40 online.
So, the pistol appeared in two different sizes for the 9x17mm (.380 ACP) Browning Short Cartridge and the 7.65x17SR (.32 ACP) Browning Cartridge. With its introduction in the years of the Civil War, the model 1922/Male 1922 inevitably went to war during World War 2.

Just picked it up an hour ago. I have not had the chance to try it out, however it seems well made and very sturdy. This is not a small derringer. I appreciate the fact that it’s beefy considering the caliber.December 16, 2021Verified Purchase
Used LEO Glock 17. Had mine for a year now. Solid shooter and very reliable, as you would expect from a Glock. But it also comes with the LEO Glock night sights, and I find the history as a service pistol to be a great plus as this is in my personal collection. Have carried it as well, would recommend.November 8, 2021Verified Purchase
Very nice holster. I went the paddle-route and am very please. Sturdy, easy draw, easy to adjust retention, etc. Recommended!November 2, 2021Verified Purchase
I don’t have one yet, but am waiting for one but your information is wrong at the top. This revolver is only 6rds not 16 as it states in the description.October 31, 2021Verified Purchase
I don’t see how this gun could have passed any “rangemaster’s” inspection as a serviceable firearm. The timing is off which constitutes a danger of injury to anyone who might fire it. The overall mechanical wear (I.e. cylinder stop worn out, cylinder stop notches excessively peened, cylinder stop window peened, excessive cylinder end shake, etc.),Read more about review stating I don’t see how this is over the top. And even though one might reasonably expect cosmetic issues, anyone who clamps a cylinder extractor rod into a drill bit (and thereby chewing up the knurling) should be taken out back and beaten with a stick. I have parts and gunsmithing knowledge so I might be able to build this into a safely serviceable firearm (if the cylinder star nodes aren’t too worn), but that’s about the most I can hope for. The average Joe would be stuck. This is more of a parts kit than what can reasonably be referred to as a used gun in any sense of what I’m used to seeing. There wasn’t any warning about the HUGE (stamped – not laser etched) agency I.D. on the sideplate either. If I wanted a fixer-upper, I sure found itOctober 29, 2021Verified Purchase
Love this gun! Sights are dead on. A little snappy compared to my S&W M&P 9mm but I was able to get used to it after 3 shots and grouped about 8 shots center of target! Awesome!October 18, 2021Verified Purchase
