The APS strip primer feed system makes priming cases a breeze. In self-feeding APS strips, primers are preloaded. Because you don’t have to handle each primer individually, they stay clean and oil-free. The strips are color-coded to help you quickly identify the primer type you’re using. Start making ammo by inserting loaded strips into your APS-compatible reloading press or priming tool. A unique strip-charging tool sold separately by RCBS can refill empty strips. These are the only primers I’ll use in large capacity or over bore cases burning slow ball powders like WC 872 or US869. Anything else will give erratic ignition and pressure spikes.
