I’ve tried a few rounds in my Smith and Wesson 686, and as far as accuracy goes, these have been great! With a laser sight I was seeing 1-1/4″ groups at 68 yards. That’s the limit for my naked eye, so I put a scope on it and can consistently get 1.5″ groups at 100 yards. near 150 yards the bullets begin to tumble, but these have easily given me a 100 yard handgun.

very accurate load out of my S&W model 19-6 with a 6 inch barrel. Barnes makes a pretty good product.

After researching ballistic gel penetration tests and trying out several options, I have selected this as my carry ammunition for my Combat Magnum. The gel tests online show that this load has good, reliable expansion and good penetration for 4-inch barrels. My own tests produce good accuracy, no muzzle flash, and reasonable recoil. I am very happy with this choice, and I hope more will become available soon.

No defects, duds, or anything else negative with the three boxes I’ve purchased. This is the ammo on hand I’d hunt with in my 8″ Contender.

I went to several gun stores to see if they would/could get a particular rifle I wanted. All of them said the particular rifle was on backorder and not available for purchase. A sales rep said about the only way to get what I wanted was to go through this site. So easy to do. I found the rifle I wanted right away and added to the cart. Was from a sporting goods store, brand new. Then I created an account, established a secure payment method and when I went to check out. I knew who I wanted, selected them and checked out. When I picked up the rifle from my local gun store, I couldn’t have been more pleased. So easy to buy through! If there were a comment, I would have appreciated a more detailed description about my order, but was pleased and was surprised when the rifle I bought showed up in its own case. With taxes and cost of case, I paid in total what I thought I was going to have to pay just for the rifle, which means I paid about $400 less for the rifle itself. Very satisfied with this site and would recommend to anyone! No hassle and easy online purchasing! Cylinder fired at the range and then carry load. Excellent powder burn with a minimum of stippling; I think these are excellent rounds.

I cannot recommend a better cartridge. These preformed flawlessly in a Desert Eagle & every other rifle/revolver I have used them in.
