The SDS IMPORTS CIVET 12 is a pump-action magazine-fed shotgun made by the world-famous Hock factory exclusively for importing SDS. But it uses Saiga 12 style magazines and drums, 19 “barrels with 3” chambers and M22x7.5 threads with a durable parquet finish.

The SDS imports 12 gauge shotgun isn’t an 870 clone at all. It’s more “inspired by” the 870 since many of its internals are custom-made to accommodate the Saiga 12 magazine.

So, the Civet 12 is loosely based on the Hawk 982 and even branding. SDS Imports tells me it’ll take 870 furniture – I couldn’t get the handguard nut off, but my tool for doing that sucked, so I’ll report back after I try a new one.
